Guided Play for Beginners

About This Event

Guided Play is designed for players who are new to Mah Jongg—or who still feel unsure playing on their own. This is not a formal lesson, but a carefully supported game session where you’ll learn by doing, with an experienced instructor at the table. During Guided Play, you’ll play full games in a relaxed, low-pressure environment while I circulate to answer questions, clarify rules, help you read the card, and gently guide decision-making when needed. You’ll get real-time support with set-ups, Charleston choices, and exposure strategy without interrupting the flow of the game. This format helps new players build confidence, reinforce what you've already learned, and bridge the gap between taking a beginner class and feeling comfortable playing independently.
